January 2, 2007 Board Meeting Agenda Item #9 Title ACCEPTANCE OF SARASOTA COUNTY'S DONATION FROM SALE OF ESCHEATED LOTS Description In 2006, the City of North Port and Sarasota County sold over 2,000 escheated lots in North Port.  The county, from their proceeds, has donated $5,000,000 to the school district designated for our use to purchase school sites within the original city limits of North Port.
